Once the thing has finished booting up, he begins to talk her around the set up, but only enough to give her some idea what she's looking at, and what's on it. There's nothing sensitive stored here, but there are test files, information, sample communications, and he explains it's hooked to the phone line and able to reach out to another computer that by that means. He isn't going to explain how to access it all, though, and begins to tell her to look for this or that file, and then to dial out, watching to see how easily she works out which icons will allow her to complete those tasks.

One can only hope that having him hovering over her shoulder all the while, intense blue gaze boring through the reading glasses, won't throw off her concentration.
