With a little push he rolls her closer to the desk, and begins to give her a crash course in the basic parts of the computer, what order it reads the disk drives in on booting up, and at last nudges her to turn it on. As the fan whirrs to life, he points out the various lights and sounds and what they mean it's doing inside.
The Shadow is many things, but he is not an easy teacher. She may wish she'd brought a tape recorder to play it all back later, because he tends to go fast.
