He extracts a single automatic, bringing it back to the sofa. "There's a hammer, and when you prepare to fire the weapon, it has to be pulled back first." Without any further warning than that, there is the sound of the hammer being cocked. The weapon is aimed at the ceiling, of course. "There's a safety latch, too."
