The Shadow allows a louder wheeze as Ichi charges, then drops forward in a low lunge, sliding across the hardwood floor on his side to swing the cane at Ichi's legs. It's a hard pose to defend from, but if the move succeeds then that won't matter. He's accustomed to taking such risks, and to having them pay off. The best course in a fight is the least expected.
