There is the hint of a chuckle in his voice. "That's not necessary, I do have a katana, it's just not very well used." He feels some mild embarrassment over this, since such a thing should be properly and respectfully maintained, but he has so many weapons and so much to do that those that are used less often tend to be neglected.
"You haven't seen what I'm up against in my own world, though. It's not always unskilled thugs." He gives a softly rattling sigh, but the faint buzz of the scotch prevents him from being too maudlin over things, for the moment.
