The dishes in the sink are yet another sign that he has been doing very little physically, but his work has kept him from the sleep and mental relaxation the doctors have advised. He is trying, very hard, to behave himself. He left the clinics with grave warnings about his ability to recover from this, and for that reason he has been making every effort to stifle his usual restlessness. It cannot last.
At the moment he's tired, however, and that Myra is safe and sound in his living room has given him a moment of immense relief. He likes the sound of her working for him. Not his alternate. Him. It has a wonderful ring to it.
The last word recieves a frown, but he answers slowly, swirling his cup and watching the leaves in the bottom. "It was only a matter of time before your strange absences made someone suspicious, and now I'm feeding you information you shouldn't, technically, have." He glances up briefly, taking in her expression at a glance. "I'm not about to give you up, but... is it my fault?" There is no guilt in his tone, but he does feel a certain amount of responsibility for her, as an agent.
